Assessors Office
The Assessors Office is responsible for administering property tax laws effectively and equitably and for producing accurate and fair assessments of all taxable property. Property includes all real estate, personal property, and motor vehicle excise values.

Building Department
The Building Department's primary purpose is to process permit applications and issue permits for all new commercial and residential construction, reconstruction, alterations, repairs, and demolition of buildings and structures, as well as the installation of telecommunications and solar equipment.

Cable Advisory Committee
We are appointed by the Board of Selectmen to address issues regarding cable TV service in our town. We hold regular public meetings to discuss cable TV-related issues.

The Conservation Commission, a seven-member volunteer board, was established to protect the community’s natural resources and to acquire lands for conservation and passive recreation.

Planning Board
The Planning Board's primary responsibilities are to administer the Subdivision Control Law pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 41 and to issue certain special permits and site plan approval under the Zoning By-Laws in order to ensure the public safety, interest and welfare of the residents of the Town.
