Leash Law

  • All dogs must be restrained at all times.
  • Unless under 6 months of age, all dogs must wear current license tags at all times.
  • Unless under 6 months of age, all dogs and cats must have current rabies vaccinations at all times.
Leash Law Fines
Confinement Fee $20
First offense $20 plus $7 per day for board
Second offense $30 plus $7 per day for board
Third offense $40 plus $7 per day for board
Fourth offense and all subsequent offenses in a calendar year $50 plus $7 per day for board
Other Fines  
Dog with no license $50 per dog
Dog with no rabies vaccination $50 per dog
