About Us
Northern Bristol County Public Health Alliance (NBCPHA) is a regional resource created to enhance the public health offerings of its member communities and deliver efficient, effective, and equitable public health services to its 164,000 residents.
Services Provided
- Directing people in need of personal health services and assuring the provision of health care when otherwise unavailable
- Controlling disease, promote sanitary living and working conditions, and protecting the environment from disease and pollution
- Enforcing federal, state, and local laws and regulations that protect health and ensure safety
- Informing and educating citizens about health issues
- Identifying and investigating health problems and hazards in the community
