Bulky Item Pickup

Starting July 1, 2022, The Town of North Attleboro Solid Waste Department will no longer be using the “Yellow Bulky Item Tags” for the disposal of curbside bulk items. All requests and payments for collection of bulk items will be made directly through our hauling company, Waste Management (WM).

The Town is subsidizing the cost for North Attleboro residents on the trash program.  The current collection cost per item to the resident is $16.60 and payment will be required at the time your appointment is made.

Residents on the trash program will need to call the WM call center or go to the WM website to schedule their collection appointment and make the payment.

Please read the Bulky Item Pickup Information Guide (PDF) for instructions on setting up the appointment as well as information on what items can be picked up.

Bulk items will be collected weekly on Tuesdays unless there is a change due to a holiday or weather issues.  Acceptable Items must weigh less than 75 lbs. Weekly collection appointments are limited so if a specific collection day is filled the call center agent will provide you with the next available date. Appointments may be made up until Noon the day before the collection.

Items must be curbside by 6:00 am on the day of your appointment. In the event you forget to place your items curbside on the day of your scheduled appointment, you will be required to contact the WM call center to make payment again and schedule another collection appointment.  No refunds will be given unless cancellation of a scheduled appointment is made by contacting the WM call center with your confirmation number by Noon the day before the scheduled collection.

Bulky tags may be returned to the Solid Waste Department or the Transfer Station in exchange for the equivalent value in Bag-Tags or Trash Bags.
