The North Attleboro Emergency Management Team is closely monitoring the upcoming overnight into Monday storm. The National Weather Service has issued the following warning/watches for the North Attleboro area:
- A Flood Watch is in effect from 7 p.m. tonight until 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18.
- A High Wind Warning is also in effect from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18.
- Wind gusts could reach up to 60 mph.
- The storm may significantly impact Monday’s morning and evening commutes. Community members should plan ahead as there may be impacted roads and detours.
As a reminder, do not enter flooded roadways. Turn around and find an alternate route.
