North Attleborough Prepares for Nor’easter – Winter Storm Sage

Town Officials are advising North Attleborough residents to take precautions as nor’easter (Winter Storm Sage) will begin impacting our area today and tomorrow.  We expect to see high winds, rain, and heavy wet snow.  Rain will start changing over to snow this afternoon.  North Attleborough Schools have announced an early release today.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until Wednesday at 8 am EDT.  We could see accumulations of heavy wet snow from 1 to 5 inches.  Wind gusts could reach 60 mph.  North Attleborough Public Works and North Attleborough Electric Department Crews are on standby and ready to respond to any event during this storm.
