Community members are advised that the North Attleborough World War 1 Park will be closed, effective immediately, due to today's high winds and a fallen tree.
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning, which remains in effect until 3 p.m. today. South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are expected. Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are also possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
