The North Attleboro Fire Department announces that no open burning will be allowed today, March 21, due to elevated fire weather concerns. According to the National Weather Service, the combination of gusty winds and an anomalously dry airmass will result in elevated fire weather concerns from late morning through late afternoon. Wind gusts are expected to be 35-50 mph.
If you see a fire, call 911 immediately as the gusty winds and dry conditions will cause a fire to spread rapidly.
