Community members are notified that MassDOT work on Route 1 at Allen Avenue is scheduled to begin Monday, July 28. The scope of work includes replacing the traffic signal cabinet at the intersection. Work is expected to occur Monday, July 28, through Tuesday, July 29, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather-dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
