Veterans Park is located in front of Town Hall. The park has seven benches, planted trees, flowers, and shrubs. There is a gazebo, a WWI memorial, a rock for a WWII memorial, and WTC monuments. The park is open from sunrise to sunset and is great for sunrise walks with nature scenery and benches to sit. Veterans Memorial Park used to be called Barrows Park. It has a Robert Toner Memorial made in honor of Lieutenant Robert F. Toner who died in a flight crash in Word War II which was moved this location in 2003.
