Parking Ban Lifted; Town Hall Updates for Wednesday, Feb. 25

Spotlight Posted on February 24, 2026

The Town of North Attleborough announces that the parking ban has been lifted. Those parked in the Church Street, Woodcock, or Community School parking lots must move their cars immediately. Those who do not move their vehicles will be subject to parking tickets and/or towing.

All Town Offices will be open to the public on Wednesday, Feb. 25. The Town Council meeting, initially scheduled for Monday, Feb. 23, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 7 PM. All Senior Center classes, activities, meals, and meal deliveries scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled. North Attleborough Public Schools will remain closed.

Please be advised that while Governor Maura Healey has lifted the non-essential travel ban for Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable, and Dukes counties, community members should still exercise caution while driving.

Thank you all for your patience and cooperation! We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our DPW crews for their continued hard work clearing roads and sidewalks and for the work they will continue over the next several days, as well as to our police, fire, and EMS first responders for keeping our community safe. We also thank the North Attleborough Electric Department (NAED) for their reliable electric service and ongoing monitoring throughout the storm.

Trash/Recycling Collection Update

Please be advised that trash and recycling collection will be delayed by two days this week. Monday’s collection will be held on Wednesday, Tuesday’s collection will be held on Thursday, Wednesday’s collection will be held on Friday, and Thursday’s collection will be held on Saturday.  Friday’s collection will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026. Due to this week's delayed schedule, next week’s collection will be delayed by one day.
