Chief Christopher Coleman is pleased to announce that the North Attleborough Fire Department is now accepting applications for Firefighter/Paramedic/EMT positions.
The North Attleborough Fire Department is a highly motivated 63-person fire department operating out of three fire stations serving a population of approximately 30,800 and responding to over 5,000 calls for service each year. With two fire engines, one ladder truck, and two paramedic ambulances in operation, the department plays a vital role in delivering fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations and public safety programs throughout the community.
This position offers competitive pay ranging from $72,000 to $90,000, with additional stipends for paramedic and EMT certifications, education reimbursement opportunities, certification bonuses, fitness incentives and daily overtime potential.
Applicants must hold required EMS and CPR certifications, meet departmental medical, physical, and psychological standards, pass the CORI background check and Physical Abilities Test, and complete a fire academy and probationary period. Residency within 30 miles of town is required. Preferred qualifications include paramedic licensure, emergency response experience, Pro-Board certifications and a degree in fire science.
