On Monday, Dec. 2, the North Attleborough Town Council unanimously reaffirmed its previous vote from the Nov. 25th Town Council Meeting to approve a 27% property tax shift from the residential class to commercial, industrial, and personal property classes. On average, the town's proposed tax rates are the lowest in the area, making us the most competitive town in which to live and conduct business!
With the 27% shift, the Town of North Attleborough has the lowest proposed commercial, industrial, and personal property taxes in the area, which makes the town appealing to new businesses. New commercial/industrial businesses coming to town increase new growth, which can help offset the tax burden for residents in the future. The Town of North Attleborough also has the second lowest residential taxes in the area.
The proposed property tax rates for all property classes, including Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Personal Property, are as follows:

Property Tax Rate- Personal Properties:
$15.67 per $1,000 of Assessed Valuation.
Property Tax Rate - Residential Properties:
$11.79 per $1,000 of Assessed Valuation.
