The Town's Fall 2024 Curbside Yard Waste Collection begins on Monday, Oct. 28. Yard waste will be collected for three weeks beginning on Monday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 1; Monday, Nov. 4, through Friday, Nov. 8; and Monday, Nov. 18, through Friday, Nov. 22. Please note that yard waste is collected ON YOUR TRASH/RECYCLING COLLECTION DAY during the times above. Please have the yard waste curbside by 7:00 AM.
There is a limit of 14 bags per day that can be placed for collection, providing that acceptable containers are used.
Acceptable Containers:
- Grass clippings and leaves must be in a biodegradable paper bag designed for yard waste or in a brown paper shopping bag.
- Brush and branches must be 6” or less in diameter and less than 4ft. long, bundled and tied with twine or rope. Sticks cannot be put into bags.
- Bags and bundles must not exceed 50 lbs. each.
Not Accepted
- No plastic bags or loose materials in barrels will be accepted.
- No limbs, trees, stumps.
- No dirt, sand, rocks, asphalt, bricks, concrete or yard ornaments will be picked up.
