The DPW reports that the Gas Company will begin installing its last gas main replacement segment on Commonwealth Avenue on October 3, 2024. The work will be between Robinson Ave and Freeman St. Once completed, the only remaining work will be service reconnections and temporary patching for the winter.
The Gas Company will mill and patch the roadways next spring.
