Solid Waste Director Laura Munson would like to invite community members to attend the Solid Waste Department’s Household Hazardous Waste & Tire Amnesty Day this weekend.

Saturday, Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon
WHERE:
North Attleborough Department of Public Works Garage Facility, 240 Smith St.
WHAT:
North Attleborough residents with a 2024 Recycling Center sticker affixed to their car window are invited to participate in the town’s Household Hazardous Waste & Tire Amnesty Day. Please note that residents will not be admitted if they do not have a current sticker affixed to their car window.
At the event, residents can drop off household waste including:
- Poisons and Pesticides
- Herbicides and Fertilizers
- Kerosene and Other Waste Fuels
- Oil-Based Paints
- Oven, Toilet Bowl and Drain Cleaners
- Paint Strippers, Turpentine and Solvents
- Swimming Pool Chemicals
- Photographic Chemicals
- Antifreeze and Motor Oil
- Auto Batteries
Residents may dispose of up to 10 gallons of liquid or paint waste per vehicle at the event. Please note that latex paint or paint that requires water for clean up will not be accepted.
Residents can also drop off up to five passenger automobile tires and ten gallons of liquid or paint waste.
Radioactive, biohazardous, pathological and commercial/industrial waste will not be accepted.
This program is provided by The Town of North Attleborough Board of Public Works as a convenience to the solid waste program participants. Those with questions should contact the Solid Waste Department at 508-699-0100 ext. 6537.
