From a comprehensive health assessment to educational videos and more, you can get a personalized plan based on your needs. This wellness program is for employees and family members that are enrolled with the Town's Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MA health plan.

Step into Spring, as the days get longer and the weather gets nicer, take some time to get outdoors. Numerous studies have shown that time spent outdoors boosts both physical and mental health. You can Step into Spring wherever you choose. Step outside for a walk or explore a new trail. If the weather does not allow you to be outside, simply walk in place or jump rope indoors. Your final “Milestone” will be to accrue 210,000 steps in 30 days. Don’t forget to sync your device to make the process automatic! Head over to the “Devices & Tracker” tile on the homepage to get started. On the challenge wall encourage your colleagues and team to get those steps in, plan a group walk and give a little “High Five” encouragement to others!
Here are some idea’s to increase your steps:
Spring Clean- cleaning the house, garage, and our outdoor living space can accrue a surprising amount of steps
Take a walk- walk first thing in the morning, during your lunch break, and/or after dinner
Get off the bus a few stops early and walk the rest of the way
Skip the elevator or escalator and take the stairs
Move during commercial breaks
Pace while on the phone
Take the dog for a walk (or two)
Schedule walks throughout your day – even better connect with a friend over the phone while you walk
